Mosquitoes depend on standing water. It is hands down the absolute best place for their larvae to develop, and it doesn’t take very much of it for you to have a mosquito problem on your hands. If you have standing water around your home, get rid of it ASAP. Check areas like potted plants, toy buckets, your rain gutters, and any water features you have on your property. Keep an eye on them after running your sprinklers and after any precipitation to ensure that standing water doesn’t collect on your property.
